Silverbac™ Technology

Activated by water or oxygen, SILVERbac releases silver ions that disrupt microbial respiratory and reproductive processes on the textile. In AATCC 100 testing, the RESORE construction showed a 99.24% reduction of S. aureus and 99.48% of K. pneumoniae. After five washes, the results were 98.91% and 99.29%, respectively. In separate ASTM E3160 testing, a SILVERbac-containing towel showed a 99.95% reduction of E. coli after 100 washes.
